O aluno egresso do Programa de Pós-Graduação em Engenharia e Ciências Mecânicas (Pós-ECM), M.Sc. Engº. Civil Luiz Henrique Teixeira, recebeu o Prêmio Mario Kabalem Restom, considerada a maior premiação conferida aos engenheiros na área da pavimentação brasileira, por seus relevantes serviços prestados ao setor. A cerimônia de entrega ocorreu em 30 de outubro, no auditório do Centro de Convenções EXPOMINAS, em Belo Horizonte/MG, por ocasião da 50ª Reunião Anual de Pavimentação (RAPv) e 27º Encontro Nacional de Conservação Rodoviária (ENACOR). Cabe destacar que Luiz Henrique é Chief Technical Officer (CTO) da empresa CBB Asfaltos, sediada em Curitiba/PR, tendo sido também premiado em 2024 pelo Instituto Brasileiro do Petróleo (IBP) por ter a sua dissertação de mestrado entre as três melhores do país, na área de petróleo e gás, intitulada Avaliação do Comportamento Funcional de Misturas Asfálticas Drenantes do Tipo BBDr com Utilização de Matriz Betuminosa Altamente Modificada HiMA, orientada pelo Prof. Dr. Breno Salgado Barra, docente permanente do Pós-ECM.
