Scholarship opportunity to pursue a master’s degree in the Graduate Program in Mechanical Engineering and Sciences (Pós-ECM) at UFSC, Joinville campus, in the area of computational fluid mechanics.
The research conducted during this master’s degree is part of a project with collaboration and funding from the company Equinor, and the activities are carried out in the Scientific Computing Laboratory. The researcher will have the opportunity to collaborate with partner researchers of the project at UNICAMP and VIRGINIA TECH, expanding his network of academic contacts and enriching his research experience.
Topic: Simulation of pore-scale multiphase flows in multiscale media
Value: R$ 3850,00
Duration: 24 months
Requirements:
Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Physics, Mathematics, Computer Science or related areas
Interest in scientific research and development
Programming knowledge, preferentially C++ and PYTHON languages
Knowledge and interest in the areas of fluid mechanics and numerical simulation
