Enrollment
First Enrollment of Regular Students
The first enrollment is done according to the instructions sent to incoming students via the email provided during the selection process. The enrollment tutorial on the CAPG system is available at this link. The enrollment period follows the Academic Calendar, together with the other regular students.
If there are any doubts, incoming students should contact the program’s office in person or via email at ppgecm@contato.ufsc.br
.
Enrollment Renewal
Re-enrollment must be done every semester (according to the calendar period), online through the CAPG system. Instructions can be found here.
Notes:
- Pay attention to the limit of 02 (two) Special Topics courses (with different codes) during the master’s program (for students under the 2018 Regulations).
- Do not enroll in courses with the same code as already completed courses, unless you intend to retake the course. If in doubt, contact the program’s office before requesting enrollment.
- Students who have already completed all credits in courses and/or are in an extension situation must enroll in the Dissertation course to maintain enrollment for the semester. The 6 credits assigned to the dissertation will be counted by the system only at the end of the program, upon completion of the defense.

- The course TEACHING INTERNSHIP (for CAPES scholarship holders) is not available in the list of courses when the student requests enrollment. Students wishing to enroll in this course must prepare a teaching internship plan (template available here) and send it to the program email (ppgecm@contato.ufsc.br) within the period specified in the academic calendar for enrollment to be processed. Before filling out the teaching internship plan, please carefully read the instructions on how it works at https://posecm.joinville.ufsc.br/estagio-de-docencia/.
ATTENTION! If you are not taking any regular courses, you still need to enroll in the Dissertation course to comply with Art. 55, item I of Normative Resolution No. 154/2021/CUn, dated October 4, 2021:
Art. 55. A student will have their enrollment automatically canceled and will be dismissed from the graduate program in the following situations:
I – if they fail to enroll for two consecutive periods, without being under a leave of absence;
II – if they fail two courses;
III – if they fail the dissertation or thesis examination; or
IV – when the maximum period for completing the program is exceeded.
Sole paragraph: The student will have the right to defend themselves within 15 (fifteen) business days for the situations defined above, counted from the official notification.
For any questions, contact the program’s office.
Enrollment Adjustment
During the period specified in the Academic Calendar, the student may request the cancellation of enrollment in one or more courses they no longer wish to attend during the semester. If the student cancels all enrolled courses, the program’s office will enroll them in the Dissertation course to ensure they remain enrolled for the semester.
